From Pompei piazza Anfiteatro : 8.00 9.00* 9.30 10 10.30 11.20 12.20 13.20 14.30 15.30* cost 8,60 euros round trip
*seasonal from 04/01 until 30/09
take the Circumvesuviana trains from Piazza Garibaldi railway station , Napoli-Sorrento line (timetable), stop in Ercolano or Pompei- Villa dei Misteri.
By car: take the A3 Napoli-Pompei-Salerno motorway, way out Ercolano, go on the left under the motorway bridge, go along Boscocatena street, cross the junction, go along straight San Vito street and then keep on risin' 2 km until altitude 1000 meters, Vesuvius National Park entrance.
